Anne Ewen
After obtaining a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology from The University of Aberdeen and trying her hand at a variety of jobs, Anne finally settled in a career in accountancy. Anne has worked in practice in both Scotland and England for just over 10 years and joined Abercrombie Gemmell in April 2005. She became a qualified member of ACCA in 2008.
Anne is an assistant manager within the Corporate Services Department and helps to ensure the process of auditing and preparing year end accounts for AG’s clients runs smoothly. Anne has an excellent working knowledge of SAGE and still enjoys the opportunity to work hands on with clients to resolve any operational issues they may be having as well as assisting them with the preparation of management accounts. AG has a varied client base from one man bands to medium sized Limited companies covering a wide range of industry sectors including charities. This eclectic mix means no two jobs are the same and Anne enjoys the daily challenge of meeting the individual needs of AG’s clients.
Being a music fanatic, Anne loves living in Glasgow for its thriving music scene and regularly attends live performances from all musical genres. She also enjoys the experience of going to the theatre and will watch anything from pantomime to ballet. When she’s not out socialising with friends and family, she enjoys long walks in the countryside, followed by a nice glass of wine.
